CACs are utilized to foster and sustain civic engagement, affording residents the opportunity to identify community needs and develop and implement plans to address those needs. CAC members are elected, represent the residents of their communities, and serve in an advisory capacity to the department.
Meetings are held monthly on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 4 p.m.
CAC Boundaries Okeechobee Road to the west and Railroad Track to the east; Hialeah Drive (NW 54th Street) to the south and 25th Street east through Jose Marti Blvd. to the north.
Meetings are held monthly on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 3:30 p.m.
