Event Sources The following Mobility components generate events that can be recorded in the event log and displayed in the Mobility Event Viewer: Mobility Component Description Client Events generated by the main Mobility client (Meswce.dll and Nmdrv.sys). Client UI Events generated by the Mobility client user interface. Directory Events generated by code that accesses the Mobility warehouse. Event Log Events generated by the event logger. IMP Events generated by the Internet Mobility Protocol (IMP). These events can be logged on all platforms. NAL Events generated by the network abstraction layer, which provides a consistent interface to the networking subsystem (currently to the TDI interface of the TCP stack). These events can be logged on all platforms. Policy Events generated by the client policy subsystem. These events can be logged on all platforms. Portmapper Events generated by the portmapper, one component of the Mobility server. Proxy Events generated by the proxy server, one component of the Mobility server. Proxy DHCP Events generated by the DHCP client on the server that acquires virtual addresses for Mobility clients. Reporting Notifications and events generated by the Analytics Module. Roam Mobility clients log roaming information using this source. Security Events generated by the security subsystem. These events can be logged on all platforms.
