Peter Cam has served as the Tax Collector for Miami-Dade County since 2019. Before that, he served as Assistant Tax Collector from 2008 to 2019, Special Projects Administrator from 2003 to 2008, and Assistant Auto Tag Manager from 2000 to 2003.
From 1996 to 2003, Peter served in various Miami-Dade County Departments, such as Housing, Public Works, and the Office of Community Services.
From 1983 to 1996, Peter served as Group Treasurer and Executive Manager for the Blackpool Pleasure Beach Company Amusement Park Group, in Northern England and in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Peter attended Liverpool University, England, where he earned a Master of Civic Design Qualification. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Humanities from John Moore's University, in Liverpool, England.
