Filter Dialog Box

Use this dialog box for:

•	Filtering the Event Viewer display

•	Specifying the severity of events displayed in the Event Viewer

•	Refreshing the Event Viewer display

You can configure the following options:

Option	Description
Event sources	Events generated by selected Mobility components will be displayed in the Event Viewer window. By default the event viewer displays events from all components, but you can choose to show events from only the components you select. This dialog box does not control which events are logged; it determines only which events are displayed.
Event Type	Selected Mobility event types will be displayed in the Event Viewer window.
Auto refresh	(Not available in Mobility console) By default on all operating systems except Windows CE, the Event Viewer displays the 200 most recent Mobility events (after applying any filters you have specified), and automatically updates the log file display as it records new events. When Auto refresh is set to On, you can configure the number of events displayed in the Event Viewer window. If you set Auto refresh to Off, you must click Refresh on the View menu to update the display see new events. The Event Viewer on Windows CE does not auto refresh by default.
Maximum number of events to show	(Not available in Mobility console) Limits the number of events displayed in the Event Viewer window when Auto refresh is enabled.
