Service or Utility Relocations
Customers may request relocation of services, fire hydrants, utilities, cut & plug, retirement, etc. WASD will determine accordingly on a case-by-case basis.
The Water and Sewer Department offers a Service or Utility Relocation performed by WASD forces. This service allows customers to submit a relocation request in electronic file formats to determine if WASD forces will be performing the requested work. Once the request is approved, Water Distribution will generate an estimate, and the customer will pay the estimated amount before opening a job order.
Submittal Requirements
- Boundary survey signed and sealed, not older than two (2) years.
- Proposed work sketch (Scope of Work) signed by a design professional/engineer.
- Explanation letter signed by a design professional/engineer.
- Notarized owner letter.
Application Process
Customers will need to submit the request along with the required supporting documents to NewBusinessSupvList@miamidade.gov You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your request is processed. Please allow one business day to receive this notification. In addition, you will receive an e-mail with an invoice from a representative once the application has been reviewed.
