Mobility Configuration, General Tab
Use the following settings to configure network connection options on the Mobility client:
In Windows 7 and later, most icons (including the one for Mobility) are not displayed in the notification area by default. To display the Mobility icon, open the Properties for the Windows taskbar, and then click Customize notification icons. You can choose whether to display the NetMotion tray icon or notifications, or to hide both. When Connection to server at startup is selected in the Override server-specified default setting area, the Mobility client overrides the default startup behavior configured on the Mobility server.
• If Connect to server is selected, the Mobility client attempts to connect to a Mobility server at system startup.
• If Do not connect to server is selected, network access is available, but the Mobility VPN is not used. When Default credentials is selected in the Override server-specified default setting area, the Mobility client overrides the default startup behavior configured on the Mobility server. Specify the credentials with which to pre-populate the logon dialog box:
• Mobility user—The credentials that were used for the most recent, successful Mobility logon.
• Windows user—The credentials of the Windows user who is currently logged on.
• None—No credentials; this setting is useful for shared devices.
