You can review the following Connection information:

Connection information	Description
Status	The status of the Mobility client's connection to a Mobility server, and the ID of the current user and device. In normal operation the Mobility client connects to a Mobility server automatically at system startup. If a Mobility server fails and your environment has more than one server, Mobility clients can automatically try to connect to another server. Your status then changes to Connected (failover) as <name>; the session you had before the failover will lose its persistence, but otherwise Mobility functions normally.
Virtual address	The virtual address is the fixed, constant IP address on the Mobility server that represents the Mobility client for the duration of the connection. While the client's point of presence address may change as the client moves from one coverage area to another, the virtual address remains constant as long as any sessions are active.
Point of Presence (local) address	The local address, or point of presence address, is the IP address that reflects the mobile device's current point of attachment to the network. If the mobile device returns to service at a different point on the network or connects from a new location, the Mobility server relays data to the current point of presence address, even if it is on a different subnet or a different network.
Server address	The IP address and port on the wired network of the Mobility server to which this Mobility client is configured to connect.

You can review the following Activity information:

Activity information	Description
Activity	The number of bytes sent and received since startup. The icon reflects the status of the current connection. See Managing the Mobility Client for a description of the various status icons.
Mobility icon	The appearance of the Mobility icon is a quick indication of the client's connection status. See Managing the Mobility Client for a description of all the possible states.

Other configuration options and actions:

Button	Description
Diagnostics	Opens the Mobility Diagnostics dialog box, where you can configure and create a report and save it to a local folder. NetMotion Mobility Technical Support may direct you to generate a diagnostics report to collect information for troubleshooting. See Generating Client Diagnostic Information for more information.
Configuration	Opens the Mobility Configuration dialog box, where you can modify Mobility client settings. See Mobility Configuration, General Tab for more information.
Disconnect	All sessions are disconnected from the Mobility VPN and data is sent through the default Microsoft stack to the local network. When Mobility is disconnected data encryption, compression, session persistence, and subnet roaming capabilities are not available, but connections are reestablished over the local network. See Disconnecting Mobility for more information.
Connect	When you click Connect, the Mobility client attempts to connect to the Mobility server specified in the Configuration dialog box. By default, the Mobility client will connect at startup. See Connecting with Mobility for more information.

If the Mobility client is disconnected, you must reauthenticate to the Mobility server before network communication is reestablished.
