Configuring Client Connection Behavior at Startup

A setting on the Mobility server determines whether the Mobility client connects to a Mobility server at system startup. You may be able to override the Mobility client’s default startup behavior if the system administrator allows you to. If the options for overriding the default settings are not available, the system administrator has disallowed changes on the client.

To configure connection behavior during startup

1.	Open the NetMotion Mobility Client dialog box:

Start > Mobility Client

2.	On the Status tab, click Configuration.

3.	On the General tab, select the Connection to server at startup check box in the Override server-specified default setting area. The server-specified setting is displayed in the drop-down list.

•	If you select Do not connect to server, the Mobility client does not attempt to connect to a Mobility server.

•	If you select Connect to server, the Mobility client performs the normal Mobility logon operation and attempts to connect to a Mobility server.
