Specifying a Mobility Server

The Mobility client connects to the Mobility server that you specify.

To specify a particular Mobility server

1.	Open the NetMotion Mobility Client dialog box:

Start > Mobility Client

2.	On the Status tab, click Configuration.

3.	In the Configuration dialog box, select Server name or IP address.

4.	Choose a Mobility server from the drop-down list of previously specified servers, or enter the fully-qualified domain name or the IP address of the server to which you want to connect.

5.	If you have configured the Mobility server to use a port other than the default (5008), specify the server’s fully-qualified domain name or IP address followed by the port. For example:

<server IP address>:<port>

or

<server.domain.com>:<port>

The Mobility Logon dialog box prompts you to enter a user name, password, and domain. If you have user accounts on both the local Mobility server and in the domain in which the server participates, you can specify which account you want to use by entering the local computer name for a local account or the domain name for a domain account. In either case, you will need to enter a password that is valid for that account.
