Configuring the Mobility Client to Prompt for a Smart Card at Logon

When the Mobility client and a RADIUS server are configured to use a certificate on a smart card for authentication, the Mobility Smart Card Logon dialog box prompts you to insert the card into the card reader, and enter the PIN associated with that card. If there are multiple certificates on the card, you can select a certificate from the User name drop-down list.

To prompt for a smart card

1.	Open the NetMotion Mobility Client dialog box:

Start > Mobility Client

2.	On the Status tab, click Configuration.

3.	In the Mobility Configuration dialog box, open the User Certificates tab.

4.	Confirm that the Allow user certificates check box is selected.

5.	Select Smart Card.

•	The options on the User Certificates tab apply only when the Mobility client is using the EAP-TLS method to authenticate to a RADIUS server.
